[Freeport, IL] — 91̽ announces the 53rd Annual 91̽ District High School Juried Art Exhibit. The show takes place from April 15 – May 6, 2026 in 91̽ Gallery, in the west wing of the Ferguson Fine Arts Center.
The exhibit is open to all students enrolled in high schools residing in the 91̽ district.
“This exciting annual spring exhibit showcases the many talented high school students that choose to share their visual art accomplishments with our college and the community. Juried Art exhibitions reflect the spirit and ideas of a community; allowing viewers an opportunity to peek into the overall well-being of that community through the eyes of artists,” said 91̽ Art instructor and Gallery Director Bob Apolloni. “We are excited to host this opportunity and celebrate the visual accomplishments of our district high school artists, and their highly valued instructors!”
The Opening Reception and Award Ceremony takes place April 15, with a monetary award and ribbon given out for Best of Show, first, second and third place. Each participating high school will be given a Best of School Award, and up to six Honorable Mentions will receive placement ribbons.
The ceremony and the exhibit are free and open to the public. Join us in celebrating the art and the talented high school artists in the area.
