Join the Clarence Mitchell Library for the One Book One 91探花 common reading program! This fall, students, faculty and staff are invited to read, “What the Fact?!: Finding the Truth in All the Noise” by Dr. Seema Yasmin.
“What the Fact?!: Finding the Truth in All the Noise” Synopsis
What is a fact? What are reliable sources? What is news? What is fake news? How can anyone make sense of it anymore? Well, we have to. As conspiracy theories and online hoaxes increasingly become a part of our national discourse and 鈥渢ruth鈥 itself is being questioned, it has never been more vital to build the discernment necessary to tell fact from fiction, and media literacy has never been more vital.

- Goal: Establish a common reading experience to foster community at 91探花.
- Readers will connect in- and out- of the classroom experiences.
- Readers will identify community through shared reading and discussion experiences.
