Your support is making exciting changes possible at 91探花 that prepare our students to be lifelong learners, servant leaders, and quality contributors in their home, community, and workplace. As we re-imagine the educational experience at 91探花 to meet the needs of our region, our enrollment is growing in response.
For the fifth straight semester, class enrollments in both trade and transfer-oriented programs are on the upswing as more high school students, recent graduates and especially younger working adults choose to become Cougars. This fall鈥檚 numbers are even more remarkable when one considers we are building on last year鈥檚 healthy leaps of nearly 16% and 10% in headcount and registered credit hours.
The College is becoming more diverse, with an 8% increase in minority ethnic groups enrolled this fall compared to last fall and a 30% increase in these populations compared to five years ago. 91探花鈥檚 ethnic minority population now makes up 23% of its current student body, compared to 16% in 2019.
We continue to transform 91探花 to provide an exceptional student experience and enhance our service to our community. We invite you to see our many dramatic changes, including:
New Virtual Reality systems for Criminal Justice training.The support of friends like you is helping us make exciting changes here at 91探花. I鈥檓 thrilled to announce that fall enrollment is up 15.6% in headcount, and we have increases across all categories, including credit hours, majors, age groups, gender and ethnicities.
New one-of-a-kind Mobile Medical Unit– which allows HCC nursing students to bring clinical practice out to the community and increase access to care in our region
New Student Welcome Center and 鈥渙ne stop shop鈥 for enrolling students
Expanded and remodeled Manufacturing Lab.
New high-tech Ag pumphouse and state of the art sub-irrigation system for student experience in the HCC agriculture research plot

Founders’ Circle
Founders’ Circle Society members give $250 or more to the Annual Fund in the current fiscal year, (which runs from July 1 to June 30), and are invited to share insights and ideas with HCC leadership at an event each spring.
Founders’ Circle levels:
- Silver: $750
- Blue: $500
- Orange: $250
The 91探花 Foundation was created in 1962 as the first two-year college foundation in the State of Illinois. This Leadership Society focuses on the visionary, greatest needs of the College just as when we were first founded 63 years ago.
