DESCRIPTION:On November 9th at 3pm in the Masonic Temple Theatre the 91̽»¨ College Big Band and The Joel Baer Jazz Band will give a high powered\, energetic concert of big band jazz music. \nThe 91̽»¨ College Big Band features many of the finest musicians of Stephenson County and plays the greatest repertoire of the Count Basie\, Stan Kenton and Buddy Rich jazz orchestras. \nThe Joel Baer Jazz Band is a professional jazz ensemble based out of Rockford and plays regularly in the Chicago\, Rockford and Southern Wisconsin region. This jazz band features great jazz musicians\, jazz singers\, and a modern repertoire featuring new jazz pieces and unique versions of some of the most popular video games. \nTickets for this event can be purchased at the door the evening of the concert.
