SUMMARY:HCC Visual Arts Faculty Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The annual Visual Arts Faculty Exhibit showcases recent work by some of the current HCC faculty; Robert Apolloni (drawing\, design and art appreciation)\, Alex Jansen (Graphic Design)\, and Dana Russell-Brown (Ceramics). The collection interweaves experience and methods across a diverse array of mediums and approaches\, acting as a catalyst for the visual arts to promote communication\, education and inspiration. \nThe opportunity for instructors to exhibit on campus illuminates their additional role as working artists who actively create and show their work in other galleries and venues. This exhibition offers a peek into the studio art and design practices of HCC鈥檚 art faculty\, acknowledging and celebrating our vibrant visual art community. \nAn Opening Reception will be held on Wednesday\, November 1 in the 91探花 Gallery. Refreshments will be served.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Royal Scots and Chamber Singers for an evening of seasonal music from around the world and across time.\n\nPresented in the historic Galena United Methodist Church as part of Galena鈥檚聽Luminaria Night聽celebrations\, concert goers will additionally be bathed in the lights from the sanctuary鈥檚 12 magnificent stained glass windows and immersed in the sounds of the restored 1880s Moline Pipe Organ.\n\nReception to follow. Parking will be extremely limited owing to the popularity of the celebration.
