SURS counselors will be on campus Thursday, October 19, 2023 to conduct one-on-one retirement counseling sessions. The counseling sessions are by appointment only. The location of the counseling session will be noted when scheduling your appointment. Scheduling of appointments is done directly through SURS.
Please keep in mind the following information regarding eligibility for a counseling session:
鈥mployees must be within 10 years of retirement eligibility (age 55 with 8 or more years of service, age 62 with 5 or more years of service, 30 or more years of qualifying service at any age for Tier 1 employees). See the attached sheet regarding eligibility for Tier II employees.
鈥mployees are limited to one appointment (phone, in person or written estimate) every 12 months.
鈥mployees may request up to two different dates for a retirement estimate.
The sessions are 45 minutes in length and employees are welcome to bring a guest if desired. Please note that any information discussed in the counseling session is not shared with 91探花 and 91探花 is not notified of which employees schedule appointments.
