September is National Preparedness Month

Did you know September is National Preparedness Month? While no one likes to imagine worst-case scenarios, it鈥檚 wise to plan ahead so you can handle emergencies confidently.

Here鈥檚 how 91探花 can help you stay safe:

  • Check out our , which covers need-to-know information.
  • Read alerts sent to all students and employees, which you will receive via call or text!
  • Check Remind notifications to ensure your phone number is up-to-date in the system.
  • Make note of emergency phones and instructions in classrooms and common areas.
  • Familiarize yourself with the informational posters and maps located in all classrooms.
  • Participate in mandatory drills being conducted at various times during the semester.

Lastly, nationally utilized ALICE training is being offered to all 91探花 employees once again this fall. ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training is intended to prepare individuals to handle the threat of a violent offender. Web-based training is now available via an email you received from Navigate360 (noreply@navigate360.com), with a link and login instructions for the approximate 45-minute web-based module. In-person training will be offered in the spring.
