During Fall Opening Days, a brief communication survey was administered to attendees in response to lower communication ratings received in the Great Colleges to Work For Survey. The survey showed employees felt that the aspect of communication within our organization that needed the most improvement was consistency across teams/departments (34%), followed by opportunities for two-way feedback (15%). At Spring Opening Days, President Kuberski outlined some of the work that was done fall semester to address this. A follow up survey done during Spring Opening Days shows that employees want improvement to continue to focus on consistency across teams/departments (37%), as well as access to relevant information (17%), and transparency from leadership (14%).
