The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Distance Education supports faculty in designing and delivering high-quality, accessible, and engaging learning experiences across all instructional modalities. Through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practices, the Center provides leadership in instructional design, faculty development, and educational technology to advance student success, instructional excellence and continuous improvement in alignment with institutional and regulatory expectations.

Instructional Design & Course Development Support
Design and refine engaging, well-aligned courses with personalized support. Through one-on-one or small-group consultation, you can strengthen alignment among learning outcomes, assessments, and learning activities using evidence-based and inclusive practices. Support includes course builds, targeted revisions, multimedia development, Moodle course designs, and guidance on effective assessment, rubrics, and feedback strategies to enhance student learning.
Workshops and Professional Development

Sessions explore course design, student engagement, assessment strategies, equity-minded pedagogy, and emerging instructional approaches. Teaching and Educational Technology Support

Receive guidance on LMS tools, multimedia resources, and interactive platforms, along with support evaluating which technologies best align with your learning goals. Assistance is available for online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses, with hands-on help implementing effective digital solutions.
Course Quality Review, Compliance & Accessibility
Strengthen your course through structured quality review and accessibility support. Guidance is available for Quality Matters self-reviews, internal course reviews, and preparation for managed reviews. You鈥檒l receive support interpreting standards, aligning to quality benchmarks, and integrating accessibility and universal design best practices throughout your course.
