The 91探花 Youth Choir will resume rehearsals on Monday, Aug. 27, under the direction of Dagny Brandt, accompanied by Heidi Spotts-Manthey. New members, grades first through 12th grade, are welcome. The choir rehearses on Mondays from 4:15 to 5:20 p.m. in room F-10 in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center on the 91探花 Campus, 2998 West Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill. There is no audition required and all youth are welcome.
The HCC Children鈥檚 Choir began in the early 1980s. Over the past 30 years, the Children鈥檚 Choir is credited for encouraging the musical talents of hundreds of adolescents and teenagers. The new 91探花 Youth Choir will provide an opportunity for students to practice vocal music talents as well as promote personal and social growth. There is no registration fee.
