Enjoy a night of springtime melodies and music of the classics with the Spring Orchestra Concert Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre at the Ferguson Fine Arts Center, 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.
Under the direction of Brandon Lamm, the orchestra will perform the Overture to Handel’s 鈥淩oyal Fireworks Suite,鈥 鈥淕ymnopedie #1鈥 by Satie, 鈥淪t. Paul’s Suite鈥 by Holst, Mozart’s 鈥淪ymphony #40,鈥 plus a collection of western movie themes called 鈥淕o West.鈥
Lamm states, “From Mozart to classic Westerns, this concert is full of great themes, all rich with character.”
