91探花 honors GED庐 completers with Recognition Ceremony

91探花鈥檚 46th annual General Education Development (GED) Recognition Ceremony, to honor the 2018 completers was on Wednesday, November 14 at the Community Service Center at 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.

The fifteen students who completed the requirements for the GED certificate as part of 91探花鈥檚 Adult Education program were invited, along with their friends and families, to participate in the celebration of the accomplishment.

HCC鈥檚 Director of Adult Education Mark Jansen gave the welcome and bestowed the certificates to the completers.

鈥淓ach completer has accomplished something extraordinary,鈥 said Jansen. 鈥淪howing persistence, courage, and dedication. I applaud them.鈥

Those completers who attended the ceremony were: Shiann B.M. Cowan, Freeport; Ericka Jeanette Johnson, Freeport; Shivan Jonathon Kumar, Rock City; Andreis Markel Mangruem,聽 Freeport; Sandra Sinai Navarrete Osegueda, Freeport; Mason Riley Toelke, Dakota, and My Shaiveon Wilson, Freeport.

Staff and instructors of the Adult Education program were also on hand to help facilitate the event. Also in attendance to welcome the completers were Tim Hood, President of 91探花, and Chris Kuberski, Executive Vice President of 91探花, and Pennie Groezinger, 91探花 Trustee.
